We absolutely loved staying here. Only problem was we thought the campground was with the rest but that was an assumption and it made and ass out of us lol. Birds talk a lot and there is good shade. We absolutely loved staying here. Only problem was we thought the campground was with the rest but that was an assumption and it made and ass out of us lol. Birds talk a lot and there is good shade. Parked in sand which shifted. Lake is super close and was wonderful for fishing. We put T-Mobile as no service because we have the home Wi-Fi that did t work here but Verizon worked good. I work from the camper and could upload and download and do a Zoom meeting. Slower than I’m used to but fast for how far out you are.

Overall Rating
Water was low so boat ramp at this CG was closed. Several large spots with grassy surrounding area good for ball throwing for our dogs. Please Everybody Pick Up Dog Waste like people did here Pretty sunset. Did have lots mosquitoes at dusk. Did faintly here train horns and minimal traffic noise. No hookups

Overall Rating
Easy to get to and nice campground around the Lake. Several entrances to the park which has several boat ramps. The water is down at this time of the year so the Elk Horn campground ramp was closed. We were on our own here and enjoyed the quiet and serenity of this site!
