Elk Creek was the best RV camping place! We started out with only two nights reserved, and realized we loved the park. After asking if it might be possible to get a spot for 13 more night the owner accommodated us wonderfully! We had to move two more times, but truly didn’t mind at all. We camped here for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend, 2017. This campground is in a great location - super close to Grand Lake and equally close to the RMNP entrance. The Hookup sites are mostly separated by large shrubs and trees, but we were at site 28, which had marvelous views, but was right in line with 6 or so other sites. There... more

We parked here in order to get into Rocky Mountain NP early the next morning. The playground was full of puddles, and not well designed to avoid such things. Bathrooms were clean enough. Otherwise, I nice spot for a quick overnight. There was enough space between sites.
