Sites are a little close together but nice.
Bathrooms and showers are heated and the water is nice and hot.
Train horns on the early morning but wasn’t too bothersome.
There are like 10 camping areas inside Lake Murray state park. The fees for the sites vary.

Very Nice Park. Easy To Get To, Close To Town But Very Quite. Nice Spacious RV Sites With Concrete. Water Front In Several Sites. Showers And Restrooms Are Clean. T-mobile Was Low Signal Down By The Water (0-1 Bar) But 200 Yards Away Up A Small Hill Had Steady 2 Bars. Lake Is Beautiful. Some trees need to be cut back but not too bad.

We had a lakeview site with a nice view of the water and the site was relatively level. But there was heavy runoff of sand/mud from the rains onto the cement pad. For that reason, I would not select Site # 66 again. We had 1 bar with ATT.

I had an easy pull through site with water, electric, and sewage. My site (27) was shaded most of the time which was nice on the hot days, and even though sites are fairly close together, you feel further apart because of the trees in-between you. I also felt very safe the entire stay.
The surrounding park is pretty flat, so it makes for a great place to go for runs or a bike ride.
I work full-time and was able to use my Verizon Jetpack which fluctuated between 2-3 bars. However, I had no issues on video calls, or being able to work efficiently, etc. I would recommend this campsite for full-time workers worried about connectivity. I also had 1-2 bars on AT&T.
Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice. It's quite a beautiful area that surprised me. If you're going in the Summer, take wasp spray. Unfortunately, my breaker box did have a small nest in it, but that was the only negative ha!

Nice OK State Park... we stayed only one night enroute home but will come back. Easy access from I-35. Good pull through full hook-up sites. We have tried to book here before but weekends are booked solid. It was wide open on a Monday in early December.

The swim sport play area by Lake Murray Lodge was a lot of fun for the kids. The marina is really nice and the staff was friendly too. There is a beach area close to the marina as well. If you like to antique shop there are several on main and Ten-Star Pizza Kitchen is great! Staff is friendly too.

The sound of the waves was very relaxing. We enjoyed sharing our campsite with Canadian geese, hawks, a family of woodpeckers, chickadees, cardinals, and various other songbirds. The site was quiet and serene.
We utilized the water, 50 Amp, and sewer hookups with no issues. WiFi was spotty, however.
We went inside the campground bathroom and found it to be immaculately cleaned and nice-smelling.
This park also offers horseback riding, tennis, miniature golf, a swimming pool with splash pad, a restaurant, chapel, nature center, RC flying field, boat tours, and lots more. It is a great place for a family trip.
The lake is large and the various activities are scattered around the lake.
We are eager to return as soon as possible! This is truly a hidden gem.

We went over Thanksgiving for a social distancing Thanksgiving. It was a bit chilly so my wife got us a spot that wasn't right on the water. Site 35 is kind of secluded in the trees away from the lake by about 100 yards. All the concrete pads that I put my eyes on were fairly level and nice. I didn't have to level my RV side to side at all. Just unhitched and leveled front to back.
We didn't bring our kayaks with us cause it was on the cold side, but there are some spots 18 and 19 I believe that would be perfect for kayak campers. There's a small beach next to both of those. Although I already looked at booking one of those spots during the summer and they are pretty booked solid already. So that tells me i'm right about those spot.
The bathrooms are pretty nice, the dump station at elephant rock was really nice (as far as dump stations go).
There's a nice play ground with rubber turf so the kiddos won't break their necks. most of the spots where 30/50 amp although I would check into each site you're interested in to make sure. Our slip had full hook ups as well.
site 35 had a nice fire ring with views of the lake, but far enough away the wind wasn't a problem. Dumpster for trash was only a couple hundred feet away so that was nice.
Overall it's a great state park. I hope to go back in the spring/summer to do some kayak fishing.
