yes they are open the year round... great place to camp.... and a golf course is close by.

Due to winterization at Lake Murray State Park, the Cedar Cove, Duke’s Forest, Tipp’s Point, Marietta Landing, Rock Tower and Martin’s Landing campgrounds will be closed and winterized from December 1, 2019 through March 1, 2020. The Elephant Rock, Buzzard’s Roost and ATV campgrounds and facilities will be open all winter. Tent camping is available in Buzzard’s Roost, ATV and Tipp’s Point. The ATV Area is open from 8am to sunset daily. The Nature Center and Tucker Tower are open 9am-4:30pm daily through the end of October. From November 1 through March 1, the hours remain the same, but they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. The Nature Center and Tucker Tower are also closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
