How high/wide are those tunnels? Is that the only way in/out?

This is a very scenic spot with rock cliffs all around and a path down to the Arkansas river nearby. It's a tight camping area that can accommodate a couple of largish rigs but really is more suited for smaller rigs. I camped in 20' travel trailer and it took some maneuvering to dodge boulders to get into my spot. It is very peaceful here yet only 10 minutes to town (Buena Vista). There are established campsites with metal fire rings. Note that you do have to go through 4 tunnels but they are pretty wide and tall so most rigs should be able to get through them without issue.

Nothing over 25 ft is fitting in the actual campground. Planned on staying one night and our space was so nice, we've been here for 3 and may leave tmrw.

The road leading up the the campground was being graded when we left this morning, though in the actual campground there are some boulders to navigate around. I think about 12-15 vehicles could camp there, though no big rigs. We only saw Sprinter Vans and small trailers camped there. The Arkansas River is right there, and one of us caught a Brown trout. Note that all campers are required to pack out all waste, including pee. Someone came around to check when we were there, but they didn’t issue any citations. The drive to Buena Vista is about 10 minutes, which is convenient because it is a town you’ll want to visit more than once.

The campground has 12-15 spots you can choose from, but the 'road' inside the CG has many large rocks to navigate around. The area gets a fair share of traffic as the main launch point for the river rafting is not far down. Not the best place in the area to camp, but it will do in a pinch. The area gets a fair share of traffic as the main launch point for the river rafting is not far down. Not the best place in the area to camp, but it will do in a pinch. It appears that some may be staying here past the 14 day limit at the time I dropped in.
Dirt road leading in is in good shape. The tunnels are worth the drive alone. Easy access to the Arkansas River if you are into that sort of thing.
