Terrible road. Drive over the berm slowly. There was a toy hauler already parked.
The 5th wheel is still there as a landmark??
Broken dishes from target practice in 1 spot.

Based on the previous reviews, we were hesitant to stay here in our 25ft motorhome but we made it and we would stay here again if we were passing through.
The road pass the cattle guard likely gets washed out in heavy floods - there's a dip where the road seems to wash out from time to time but we were able to pass it with our motorhome. We did see another camper with a long 5th wheel make it out of there with some scraping but he made it out.
Yes, the locals and campers shoot guns against the mountains/hills but we felt safe during our stay.
We can't vouch for the cleanliness near the mountains/hills but closer to the highway was fairly clean.
The highway noise isn't terrible. It's a convenient, free site near Las Vegas.
Gorgeous sunsets & sunrises and cell reception was great.
Cell Reception:
1. Starlink - 93 Mbps / 27 Mbps / 30-80ms
2. AT&T - (LTE Band 66 -102dBm) - 95 Mbps / 19 Mbps / 50-70ms
3. T-Mobile - (5G Band n71 -76dBm) - 80 Mbps / 26 Mbps / 50-110ms
4. Verizon - (LTE) - 30 Mbps / 8 Mbps / 60-300ms

We, like Susan A., were wanting to camp here on 10/17 and originally thought it was on the side with all the solar panels. When we got to the right location, it was crazy challenging to get past the washout! Someone was camped before the washout, right next to the highway. We made it in and found a level area with plenty of room to turn around. There were make shift fire rings full of beer cans and trash. While eating dinner, we heard several gunshots, then on our morning walk we came across where all the gunshots were coming from. It is absolutely FULL of trash used as targets and shell casings EVERYWHERE! There’s a sign at the entrance asking for those shooting to pick up after themselves. Obviously no one has paid any attention to the sign for years, because that’s how trashed it was! It infuriates me that some people have no respect for the land! While driving out, the back end of our travel trailer hit at the bottom of the wash and messed up our stairs by the door. I would definitely pass this one up!

We noticed a 5 th wheel boondocking on the north side of Hwy 95. We followed the directions from Google maps which were obviously wrong. Just be forewarned this is in the middle of NO WHERE!

After this the road splits. To the left goes thru the wash and up to where the target shooting is going on. I saw 2 trucks and a car get stuck in that wash in dry weather. Didn't think the car was coming out but after 30 minutes he managed. The road goes to the right also and I have no idea where. It's this elevated one lane road bed. I'd walk it a little but got nowhere.
I uploaded pictures of the road up the hill and the spot at the top of it. US95 is busy thru here so it was noisy. Just down from this is what looks to be a trailhead with a sign and large parking area. Saw a couple vans use this area overnight.

Great place to stay coming back from Moab and not hard to get back to hwy 15.

We set-up at this location to take care of chores and errands in Boulder City and Henderson. It's close to the highway, but surprisingly not too noisy at night. The road in is easy to navigate; just take it slow. Big flat spots to set-up. Sadly it's kinda trashy.
