Just came back and yes, generators were ok 10am - 8:00pm.

Yes, many RVs were using generators during our stay. I believe you can only use them from 8 am - 8 pm. Don't be the guy who flaunts these rules or uses an open-frame generator.

I only stayed 3 nights and didn't use mine. Don't recall hearing any either ... I really can't stand that noise and feel bad using mine, so only keep it for a real necessity.
