Kind of a rough road going in and out but just go slow and you’ll be fine as long as it hasn’t been a downpour recently.
Lovely place, enough signal to work even. Not much going on in town though.

Stayed here for a week for a nomad event, room for hundreds of rigs, any size. Just take the road in slow and you’re golden. Blythe is close by, about 20 minutes, laundry facilities there, albertsons, and a dispensary. Close enough to Quartszite to go check it out for the day. Decent cell signal, I bet it’s even better when it’s not congested like it was for the festival. Beautiful walks, sunsets, privacy, exactly what you want from a BLM site. Would stay again.

This is a large, BLM area that is quite possible with snowbirds and nomads who are on limited budgets. In the past, it was not uncommon for people to spend months here during the winter, but the rangers did begin enforcing the 14-day camping limit this past winter.
Access is relatively easy and is rigs of all size make it into this area without difficulty. The road is rough and rocky dirt, but it is well packed. Venturing off the established roads is possible, but ground conditions vary widely.
This area is just a couple of miles outside of Ehrenberg, and across the Colorado from Blythe, California. Ehrenberg does have a small Mini-Mart with showers and laundry facilities, a truck stop, and as of this past winter a Family Dollar. The nearest additional services are in Blythe or Parker, Arizona (about 40 miles north).
During peak season (December through February) this area often becomes rather crowded as it has been widely reviewed online. Before and after the peak season though (when it is often unbearably hot) you can pretty much have the whole desert to yourself.
ATVs/OHVs are an issue in this area at times. The ground is incredibly dusty and off-road vehicles often create considerable dust clouds - and noise.
