“Convenient to White Sands National Park”

After our boondocking fail at the Gage BLM dispersed camping area (previous YouTube Video), we checked into Edgington RV Park in Alamogordo, New Mexico. The campground is owner operated and honors the Passport America 50% discount for your entire stay. Two nights with 50 amp electric hookup and water was $15 per night and $30 for the two night stay. Verizon cellular service clocked in at 25.0 Mbps download speed and 2.02 Mbps upload speed. AT&T cellular service clocked in at 31.2 Mbps download speed and 19.0 Mbps upload speed. White Sands National Park and McGinn’s Pistacho Land were convenient excursions during our stay.

“Cheap and decent location”

This park was safe and located within 35 minutes of Lincoln National Forest and 25 minutes of White Sands National Park (bring your sleds!). With a passport America membership the cost was $18 a night. The local stores are about a 10 minute drive. The family room was small but never busy. My verizon data service was more than adequate (20-25mbps).

The only negative is the there is only one shower and one public restroom.
