We got the last sure available on a Saturday night and it was a trick to get level. The campground is beautiful. It needs some work on the barriers and paving and they are closing for and extend time Sept of 2023 for a major renovation.

The RV area of the park gives you the option of if you want to be shaded by trees or be more out in the open. All the hook ups were good with gravel pads. Lots of cardinals to view. We had a pull through spot that had plenty of room. The rounded dock at the lake is beautifully constructed with swings, room to fish, and to take a refreshing walk. They have a kayak and boat launch. There is a basketball court, playground, a volleyball net, and lots of areas to have a picnic or get together. We can’t wait to see what improvements they make to this park when they close for renovations. I think the biggest obstacle is getting into the park during the weekend since this is a very popular place. The road leading to the park gets very backed up and it may take some time to get through.

This is a great place to stay; it has a lakefront, swimming, boat launching, playground, picnic tables with grills, fishing, a bathhouse, and picnic shelters. Campsites # 31 - 71 are heavily wooded, so lots of shade but no satellite access. Sites # 1 - 30 are near the waterfront and have a mix of shaded and open sky. Most sites are dirt (some gravel, but not much) and many are very un-level. If you need a level site, be sure to call them! There were lots of big rigs when I was there. All sites are FHU, with a mix of 50/30/20 amp and 30/20 amp. TV reception was great. WiFi was very poor, and cell signal varied from 3 bars to 1 bar (unboosted.) Pets are allowed, as are golf carts. The campground roads may be difficult for big rigs.
The website says that the park will be closing in September, 2023, for extensive repairs, which are sorely needed.

This park is beautiful! But.... these reviews are about the camping. Lots of things to do here. Boating, fishing, beach, volleyball, biking and on and on. BUT the camping is a bit on the downside. This can be a beautiful place to camp, but it needs a lot of TLC. From what I was told, they do have plans to do some work around the park. Including doing away with site 24 which is the site I had and was TERRIBLE. I have a 20-foot camper and I barely fit. The passenger side is to the road, so when the stairs were down, they were almost IN the road. The other side was a swamp where the sewer is. We left a day early because it was going to rain, and it was already a swamp. The other sites are okay but close. If activities is what you like, then this park is for you. We enjoyed the many parks and areas to ride our ebikes. They have a beautiful semicircular pier with swings and picnic tables. My husband used the showers and said the pressure and heat were good, but they definitely need an updating. The internet was terrible. But TV reception was good.

The park was not that full in late March during the week. My husband and I both worked streaming data on our phones on the days we were here. I got 8-12 Mb down usually and up ranged from 1.5-5.5 Mb on Verizon. I don't have my husband's numbers with ATT but they were higher than mine, and he used ATT fine for video calls. I noticed when I was walking that I got better signal down by the lake so perhaps sites closer to the site would have even stronger signal if that matters to you.

Clean and nice view of the lake. Sites can be small. Good site for quick overnight kept truck connected to 33’ trailer on site 21. Not much room for site but just right for nice walk and continue travels.
Must check in by 9pm, late arrivals not accepted.

Staff were very polite and my neighbors were regulars that were very friendly , they gave me a whole case of fire logs ! I was there from May 24th thru May 27th tent camping and it was Hot as Blue blazes "90's" but cool at night !! I took my 12 foot fishing boat and trailer which I had plenty of room to park at my site ! The boat ramp is great and piers are new aluminum !! I had a great time despite the heat !! I'm going back next year but I'll be in a camper for sure !

Per website on 11-17-23: Ebenezer Park closed on September 15, 2023 for renovations. The renovation projects include installing concrete pads at each campsite, adding RV and tent sites, paving the campground roads, updating water and sewer lines, and modernizing the restrooms and concession stand. The renovations are projected to take 9-12 months. Ebenezer Park is not accepting any camping or picnic shelter reservations past September 14, 2023. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this time.
