We love East Bank. Beautiful campground. Not a lot to do unless you travel outside the campground but we went to just relax which we got plenty of. The gate to the dam was open this past trip and it was a beautiful walk. They do have issues with ants in some sites but we just put down ant bait, we had no problems at all.

It's a decent campsite. We had site 29. Concrete pad that was slightly elevated. The campground is just outside of a small town. A couple restaurants, a small grocery. If it's raining you will be in your RV. Not a heck of a lot to do, that we found. Hope that helps

There are numerous reviews posted here for Eastbank. I would suggest carefully reading thru them and then decide if it sounds good to you. Nothing I could add here beyond what I have written in my review.

Sorry for the late response, but we’re traveling and now in California. I suppose it’s not the best time to camp if rain is in the forecast, but I really have no idea how to answer your question. My friend south of there says it’s been raining non-stop all day, so set up might be a hassle. BEWARE of the ants!! Little, tiny, black ants. We were warned before going there but figured it was just a chance thing and pretty much ignored it. We were warned again at the gate as we checked in, but shrugged it off. WRONG THING TO DO!! We were inundated and had ants entering from every conceivable opening. The rain could make matters worse as the water may be forcing them to higher ground (your camper!).

The sunsets are beautiful and there is always a breeze off the water. 2 pair of Eagles fly nearby ever the lake. Drainage is good. Get a spot off the lake if possible in either section A or C. I volunteered there for 3 months and love it. B is a nice area but no lake views and it can get pretty wet.
