“Great site, but noisy from the OHVs speeding by”
Reviewed Aug 06, 2018
Site was great with beaver dams in the river, more like a stream, an elk herd was in the field across the river. There were approximately 5 sites in this area. FR 087 became hard to traverse after almost daily afternoon thunder storms. Weather was perfect even with the rain. We visited Bryce Canyon National Park which wasn't far away, on 2 different days. Early morning was the best time to visit as the crowds start building about 8-9 AM. The downfall of sites along FS 087 is the constant OHV use with alot of speeders. Also our last night there a family group camped in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd spots and walked around firing guns, maybe 22s. Not pleasant at all.
