Easy access, paved roads. Sites next the river. Gnats and flies, no mosquitoes yet. Sites are not maintained, overgrown bushes and trees. But has picnic tables, grills, firepits and access to the river

Overall Rating
Free camping behind rest area, just follow signs. Vault toilets, metal bear-proof trash cans, picnic tables, fire pits and a covered pavilion. Short walk to river. Mosquitoes are present so be prepared.

This would be great for an overnight stop. 8 hour parking in the front and actual sites in the loop around back. Impressive for free!

Nice campsites, close to the water and can’t beat free. Not a ton to do in the area, but the river is nice. Beware - mosquitoes can get quite bad in the summer.
