We stayed just past the official campground in site 29. The MOST beautiful meadow I've ever seen! We even saw a couple moose on our 3rd day. The official campground has about 6 sites with a forest service bathroom. There is a free potable water and rv dump in Hailey, so we filled up there on the way. There is no water available here. There is a small stream nearby that is cool and clear. The dirt road off of Hwy 75 is well maintained, but could be bumpy by the end of the summer. There's sites every 1/4 mile or so along both sides of the road and a turn around at the end of 162 at the Baker Lake Trailhead (which is a great hike). I don't recommend larger 5th wheels going any further than the bridge where it crosses Baker creek to the west bank.

Perfect weather, chilly at night. Creek for the kids to play in. Open space for camp kids to run around in. It was amazing. I mountain bike Osberg-Adams + some for 30 miles and it was an EPIC, must do ride reaching 10,156’ at the highest point (8 miles into the ride).
Overall it was a great experience. I would not tow a large trailer beyond This campground!!

The sites do not seem to have a lot of privacy, but the benefit of the bathroom might make it worth it, especially for tent campers. There's a large open meadow next to the campground and Baker Creek runs along behind it. It's a really lovely area!
There is no cell service anywhere along Baker Creek Road.
The road is well maintained (as of August 2017) easy for any type of car to travel on.
