This is a nicely kept city park. Campsites are mostly level. Water & power at sites, dump before leaving. A great deal at $12!

We stay here 12/5–9/2022 in site 5. The Park had been closed since 6/28/2021 due to May tornado damage and to accommodate renovations work. It reopened 12/.3 for 28th Annual Christmas on Caddo Fireworks Festival. Camping reopened 12/5. The 450' fishing pier is missing and has not yet been replaced. The shower house is closed and renovations are targeted for completion over the next several months. There are 18 water/20A/30A/50A electric RV sites ($12/night) each with new metal picnic table and grill/fire ring, several RV primitive boondocking sites ($6/night), and many tent sites ($6/night) available. Boat launch, flush restrooms and playground are open. Most RV sites are quite unlevel. Electric/water sites 7 and 8 and boondocking sites are nearly level. Some low-level noise from Highway 1 and distant railway. On-site camp host and Sheriff substation at entrance. Mounds of red ants throughout Park. Saw Canada geese, teal ducks, great blue herons, and egrets daily. Easy in and out access to sites. Easy access to Lake for swimmers and small water craft. Sanitation dump next to shower house is free to campers, $2 to noncampers.

We stayed only one night in site #1 which is lakefront.
Sites have picnic tables, fire rings , bbq grills , lantern hooks and power pedestals. Each rv site appears to have a picnic shelter over the picnic table.
Bathroom and showers available. Bathhouse is partially open to the outdoors. So it is quite cold in the off season. The 2 showers we saw were open air and would be impossible to shower if it’s not the summer. It was raining for our visit so we weren’t able to explore more and see if there are other showers available for campers.
No reservations and campsites are first come first serve.
There is a camp host which we didn’t see while we were there. At the front of the park is a little building where you pick up an envelope and then after you choose your site you fill out the envelope and place your money inside and put it in the door slot to pay. Rules say 14 day max stay per campsite. So not sure if they would allow you to move to another site and start your 14 days over again.
There is a pier and a lovely playground.
Overall it’s a nice campground. We plan to go again.

GPS was taking us to the address! But once we found it, it’s a very nice spot. 30/50 amp plus water for $12 .... showers, dump station available as well. Camp host is very friendly and helpful. Does have a railroad close. Ok for big rigs, we are 39 feet.

The office was an empty trailer you dropped the envelope in. The park is near a huge lake that has a couple of oil wells in it. A few boats were on the lake fishing. We just spent the night, but would stay again.
