This is a well-run park with fairly clean and well-maintained facilities. I was able to work full time using my hotspot without any issues. The sites on the edges are especially nice, for the view, and there is a decent amount of space between the sites for the most part, for this type of park. The proximity to the casino was fun, and while we didn't use the service, they said you could call for a shuttle to get to/from the casino. Trash can be placed at the front of the site every morning for pickup. The overall location is beautiful, and it's not too far from Fountain Hills for groceries and things like that. The pool and hot tub were clean, the laundry room was in good, working order, the grounds were kept clean. The negatives: the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, and was out of soap, and the rates are relatively expensive. Access to hiking trails would be a plus, but there's a little room to roam around at least. Overall, this is a very nice park, and we'll definitely be back, and are hoping it will be cool enough to use the pickleball court next time!

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site 49, a 50A FHU back in site for $52/night with a Good Sam discount. Roads and site were asphalt. The CG was easy to navigate and backing in was easy. Sites were pretty close together and hookups were toward the back of the rig. Wifi was strong enough to stream, cable had 70+ channels, Verizon had 2 bars 5G at minimum, 3 bars often.
The facilities were very nice. The laundry was $3 for a double load and $.25 for 10 minutes in the dryer. The showers were very nice and were in individual rooms. Everything was clean and in good condition. There is also a large office area, pickle ball court and other activity areas. One day the CG provided free tacos for everyone and they dropped a large crate of oranges that had been freshly picked that day for anyone to grab for free. If you don't mind being in a park lined up in a row of RV's, this is a good park to be in. I generally prefer state parks and preserves, but this was close to where my family was gathering for the holidays.

Not a bad site with full hook ups and good access right off the highway. Very quiet at night without any highway noise. The river nearby cannot be seen from anywhere in the campsite. Even with the full hook ups you do not get much of anything else at your campsite. There is not even a picnic table. It could be a decent place, but the very worst is the two ladies that work the front office. They work extremely hard at making your experience unpleasant and unfriendly. It truly is like they go to extra work just to make everyone miserable as other reviews on this site also noted. Management and the staff at this campsite need a major upgrade. We would not go again simply based on how unwelcoming they are.

When we arrived we were told we’d have to move following day. Ok, no problem. We moved and that site sat vacant till the last day when someone was moved into it from another site only to stay one day. We had three other campers at various times ask if we had the “Eagle Shuffle”? Apparently this is a common event here. I talked to management about it and they said it’s due to late reservations yet I had people that stayed there for months tell me they had multiple moves and the vacated site sat empty. Other campgrounds have the same issue yet they usually make it so you don’t move. Why can’t they?
It IS a nice campground. Many snowbirds. Wide spots with no grass or picnic tables but it is the desert. Good cable TV, power and water. Pads are asphalt. Has morning trash pickup at sites. Casino is 1/2 mile away.
They do a military discount. Thank you!!
We would stay here again despite the “shuffle”.

Our son is going to school here in Phoenix, so we decided to stay down here and help him with his living expenses. This resort is worth every penny. You are close enough to shopping and food, but also far enough away from the city.
Also, they have local police and security that drives through frequently.

We stayed here for a month in October and felt like we over payed.
The good:
Park is clean, gated and secured. Neighbors were quiet and very little road noise from the state highway. Directly across the highway from a casino - if you're a gambler. Great for a couple nights if you're headed this direction. Verizon signal is 4 bars with reasonable data if you're a working traveler. 3 grocery stores and a target in Fountain Hills and mountain biking/hiking at Fort McDowell park (fee to get in). Sites are level side to side.
Not far from Sequaro Lake and the Salt River if you want to float/boat/kayak.
The not as good:
No electric meters at the pedestal, which means mandatory $4 per day (on a monthly stay) for electricity. So as a mid sized rig, I'm paying for all the usage of everyone else and smaller rigs are definitely overpaying. Residents drive way too fast through the park making it not safe when walking the dogs in the evening (cause that's when it's not 95 degrees). Laundry is $3 to wash (it's a double load unit but that still feels high). Sites are blacktop which can help cook your rig without an RV mat.
WiFi wasn't strong enough to be used at our site.
Mosquitoes can be horrendous (at least for us they were). Bring your bug spray.
You are forced to pay for trash pickup service but the birds will peck the trash and drag it out before they come by to pick it up.

Asphalt level site with a gravel patch for your site. We did not have a reservation on a Sunday night but we were able to get a site, a premium site (AKA the most expensive site). We felt safe leaving our belongings as we visited family.
Pool, hot tub, pickle ball court, DVD and book exchange, fresh morning doughnuts, laundry, clean showers and restrooms, computer center, enclosed off leash area, cable TV, WiFi, trash pickup. You could hear the highway and the park is in a flight path, nothing too terrible though.
Popular spot for the snowbirds, many pulling out for home while we were there.

After three days at the beach in a sub-par park, and a night of boondocking in the desert, we treated ourselves to a few days at Eagle View. This park is extremely clean and quiet. Sites are decently sized and the roads are wide enough that parking is not too bad. Great facilities with individual showers, bathrooms, and a laundry facility. Great clubhouse with TV, games, pool table and donuts/coffee in the AM. Heated pool/ hot tub, basket ball court and pickle ball court. Nice dog park and dog cleanup stations all over the park. There are running trails (watch out for horses and cows) across the street. You are out in the country but it's a short drive to Fountain Hills or Scottsdale.
Our complaints were few:
- Wi-fi is horrible and LTE (T-mobile) was not much better.
- Our dogs were barking in our trailer during the day while we were doing laundry and someone called the office on us. This is frustrating because I had many dogs bark at me as I ran around the park, and I saw dogs off leash even though that was forbidden. I also say a dog tied up outside the clubhouse, barking at those who enter and scratching the windows and no one said a word.
-Our neighbor parked his truck in the rocks between our spots about 2 feet from my slide and didn't move it for three days. Bet he's the one who called the office on my dogs.
- Donuts go out at 0800. Get there right at 0800 if you want a good donut. There's a large group of Snowbirds who congregate there every morning and I suspect they crush the good donuts.
Overall it's a great park that we highly recommend and we would absolutely come back!

This was the best option we found for a full hook-up park in the Phoenix area that welcomes folks under 55. While it's expensive, we'd recommend it for the quality of the amenities and location.
Value:
Ok. With the weekly rate, our nightly cost was $42 and while that's higher than other parts of Arizona, it was reasonable for the area for a full hook-up park with amenities. While the spaces are close together, in addition to on-site cable boxes, you have access to a brand new laundry room with industrial-size machines, as well as an indoor workout room, outdoor pool, and outdoor basketball court (which we didn't use.) The park's surrounding area is very scenic- you can see Superstition Mountain and beautiful sunsets. You're also a couple miles from the casino and about five miles from the town of Fountain Hills with beautiful vistas and many restaurants and shops.
Dog-Friendliness:
Good. There's a medium-size off-leash dog park and the interior road of the park is also a good place for a walk.
Runner and Biker's Rave:
Good. While there's no specific trails, in addition to the park interior road, we ran and biked along the wide shoulder of the main road to Fountain Hills. You're also fairly close to a number of mountains with great hikes.
WHJ Insider Tip:
Eagle View tends to book pretty far out but we were able to get a week there through persistence and someone's cancellation.
Overall, Eagle View is expensive but it's a great option if you're under 55 and will use the amenities and take advantage of the surrounding area east of Phoenix.

We stayed for 3 nights. In the afternoon we asked at the desk if we could stay another 3 nights. The man behind the desk said that was no problem. My husband asked if he needed to pay immediately and was told to come back in the morning and do it. We asked what time the office opened and he said don’t come back at 8, just come back around 11 am, which we did. We were then told that they booked our site and we had 15 minutes to leave. We had no time to dump, water up, or clean our grill or breakfast dishes! We feel that they got an offer for a longer stay by someone else. Sadly, there was no compensation or even an apology. So we had to leave with no where to go. Poor business practice!
