“No drinking water, no dump - too bad”

Reviewed Jun 25, 2019

Overall Rating

We knew there was a chance for no potable water but now it looks like the dump is out for good or in need of major repairs. It’s too bad. This is a nice little campground just outside of Anchorage. Most sites are well spaced apart (watch for the double side by side sites) and overall a nice campground. There is a dump station b... more

“Peaceful campground tucked away from Anchorage bustle”

Reviewed Mar 01, 2016

Overall Rating

While not really IN Anchorage, this campground is more convenient to Eagle River, which has basic amenities, while still being close to the state's largest city. The road into the campground is a little narrow and winding (watch for trees on the right), but easy enough to get into. The sites are all back-ins with no hookups, but the... more
