Question about Eagle Nest Lake State Park Campground

pezman asked on 2/19/2020

Thinking about arriving there at the end of April or middle of May. Will sites be difficult to get? Where is the closet dump station that's around there?

As I recall the sites are all pull through and easy to get in and out of. We loved it up there and even say a bear across the lake. Sorry but I do not remember where the nearest dump station was.

I doubt it will be that busy. Many NM State Parks remain closed to camping and open for day use only. As of May 2021 Eagle Nest is open for day use only. There are RV parks around there and a couple of them will allow you to use their dump station for a fee of $7 - $10.
