We stayed in a 35' Class A with a Jeep Cherokee and there were a lot of spaces that would accommodate us and bigger rigs. Roads inside the park are a little tight, but we didn't brush a single tree getting through. Site 51 would be perfect for those with solar and/or satellite as it is wide open overhead. All sites have good separation and lots of natural trees and foliage. Expected bugs but had very few.
The bluff trail runs right behind that row of sites so you do hear some people noise, but the tradeoff is watching the sunsets from your dining room. Very clean shower and restrooms, good size playground for the kids.
Loop 1 is first-come, first serve and was less than half full for our entire stay. Loop 2 is 90% reservable and was about 60% full. The Clallum County Park reservation system is great and they are wonderful about responding to emails and helping find the best spot for your set up.
Access off Hwy 101 is easy off either Carlborg or Kichen-Dick. Signage is decent. GPS was accurate to the gate. Easy dump station on the way out.
Nice hiking and many see whales from the bluff. Lots to do on the OP, so book as much time as you can!

No hookups of any kind, so you are boondocking here, but the location is everything. Potable water is available on the way in, and there's a dump station on the way out.
Bathrooms and showers are nice and clean and everything works. Nice hot showers are $0.25 for 2 minutes, so bring quarters.
We had a wonderful time here. Campground is within easy walking distance of Dungeness Spit wildlife preserve. If you wish, you can walk the 5.5 miles out the spit to the light house and back. Just check the tide tables before you go and plan to walk out / back at lower tides to avoid any drama. There's lots to see and do in the area, and this is a fantastic base from which to operate.
Casa Rocinante would stay here again

Stuff to do while camped at Salt CreekThere are lots of opportunities for walking around this park on the various trails. There is also a fun and mysterious WWII bunker that's worthy of exploration. ...
