Nice campground with water only and pit toilets. About 3 miles outside Dutch John down the road to get to the Green River boat ramp downstream of the dam. Had 3 bars 3G via Union Telephone from T-Mobile with boost antenna. Was able to stream video. Poor quality without antenna. Might try boondocking next time since in reality that is what we are doing @ $10/night with America the Beautiful discount.

“Great place if you are fishing this section of the Green River!”

We stayed midweek, the week before Labor Day. No problem getting a site, but looked like all sites were reserved for the long weekend. A fire has been through, we think in 2002, with some replanting.
All sites had a shade ramada, paved sites and path leading to the table and firepit. Some sites had level tent areas framed with 4X4's. There was an area for a camp host, but no one was there. There were 4 group areas that could be reserved. Flush toilets and sink restroom between sites 14 and 15 (closed in the winter), 2 other pit toilets. This campground is open year round. Most sites could accommodate large rigs.
We did not spend a lot of time at the campground, we were busy off fishing in the Green River. The campground is not on the river, but not far away is a boat launch below the dam. A take out point was 7 miles downriver, again not far from the campground. There is a lovely tail running along this river between these two points.
