I did a detailed review last year, so pretty much the same. The grass had been cut nicely when we got here (not since however, but it hasn't grown much). I did a detailed review last year, so pretty much the same. The grass had been cut nicely when we got here (not since however, but it hasn't grown much). There are clean porrable outhouses here this year, and there's garbage collection. It is a gorgeous little park to spend the night as you're passing through, or several nights. I guess it's the Saskatchewan department of highways who keep the park open, so much appreciation to them for that. Too many of these roadside campgrounds are being closed, in the name of progress I guess!! There are a lot of folks who stop for the night and some for longer.

Perfect stop over location with lots of room and privacy and even a dump station. Quiet and easy to manoeuvre a 40’ Class A towing a vehicle. And free is good.

This could be a very nice little spot if they'd only cut the grass, which is very high everywhere. Other than that it's a pretty area to camp, as long as you're fully self contained. This could be a very nice little spot if they'd only cut the grass, which is very high everywhere. Other than that it's a pretty area to camp, as long as you're fully self contained. There are no amenities, although there is a sewer dump at the entrance. It's just off highway 16 but you don't hear much traffic noise as there is an abundance of trees throughout the park. As well there is a railway track right behind the area but it isn't too annoying. We plan to stay here for a bit more than two weeks. There are a few spots that'll fit bigger units and there is lots of area to park a small unit or to set up a tent. Being full time RV'ers we are always looking for free parking and this is one of the nicer free spots to camp....like I said, if they'd cut the grass. There's such a minimal amount of upkeep needed other than that. I do commend the RM (I assume that's who takes care of it) for keeping it open as there aren't many places like this around anymore. It's close enough to Saskatoon you could easily camp here if you had things to do in the city, which is what we're doing.

We stayed here because it was close to town. We knew that the highway noise would be an issue, but were actually pleasantly surprised at how minor it was. The area itself was surprisingly well kept, the portapotties were recently serviced and garbage picked up. There is a sani-dump but we didn't use it (no RV). A couple of folks with goosenecks and A-classes showed up and stayed the night on the other side from us. They had a little bit of a tricky time making some of the turns, but did make it. There are also other rest areas around that you can stay at.
