Overall Rating
This area is extensively hunted from Dec 1 to mid-February or longer. Best to avoid during those months unless you are hunting. Pick up trucks drove by, heard deer dogs in the distance. Had a nice chat with a hunter who said there is a lot of game in the area. He goes there to fish in the summer. Access was down adequate dirt/sandy roads but take it slow. Site overlooks a creek has picnic table and fire ring and is attractive. Room to turn around. Drove here by mistake and didn't check cell coverage, but nearby site was spotty on Verizon.

From highway 98 in Eastpoint, turn north on highway 65 to Tower Road to the sign for Deep Creek Tract, directly across from the Tate's Hell Forest field office. Turn onto Tower Road and go 1 mile to the 3-way intersection. Turn left onto Doyle Creek Road and proceed to the end for the campsite. The post is halfway down the road on the left and is missing the site number placard. Please review the overall map for campsites at Tate's Hell State Forest.
