Overall Rating
Arrived after dark. Head towards truck parking for a lot of space. Car side just has a some regular spaces. Everything was clean and well lit and we felt very safe.

“Great overnight spot”

Overall Rating
This rest stop was a pleasant surprise with a clear view of the West Texas sunset and landscape, a playground, lots of trash cans, restrooms and little historic display. I didn’t go inside but everything appeared clean and well maintained from the outside.
Lots of burrs in the grass so watch those puppy paws.

Good spot for an overnight. Had planned to drive another couple hours, but just couldn't make it safely. Seemed clean, and I felt comfortable and safe staying. When I got there, there were only a couple big rigs and one other rv, but, by morning it was really busy. I had my generator running and ACs on because...well, Texas at the ... more
Good spot for an overnight. Had planned to drive another couple hours, but just couldn't make it safely. Seemed clean, and I felt comfortable and safe staying. When I got there, there were only a couple big rigs and one other rv, but, by morning it was really busy. I had my generator running and ACs on because...well, Texas at the end of June...and I slept soundly and never even heard the highway traffic or trucks coming or going. Definitely a last chance stop between nowheres, and I have it marked as a would stay again if needed.
