What a great campground! Camped Aug 20-22 and we were practically alone. A couple of bow deer hunters but basically empty. Beautiful meadow by the campground; a natural spring across the road to fill water bottles (so cold!) and the PCT is 0.3 miles from the campground. Walked 1 mile along the PCT to Feather River Creek and just enjoyed the day! Unfortunately, had to cut our trip short due to wildfires 😩

This place was truly picturesque. On the Friday night after Memorial Day weekend, we were the only people there. The campground is situated on a marshy creek fed by a freshwater spring, and the creek runs directly through the campground, separating the main section of the campground from a handful of smaller sites on the other side. There's a footbridge that connects the two sides. Most of the sites on the smaller side are creekside and the most picturesque — with meadow, marsh, and creek views — but they'll only fit smaller rigs. The larger section of the campground is more wooded, so always a bit dark, and the sites closest to the creek are across the road from it. But that side can fit any sized rig.
A few spigots throughout the campground, pit toilets, trash and recycling.
Across the street is the spring source, and it's a gorgeous water garden, with a pipe of running fresh spring water that you can fill your jugs and water bottles with. The Pacific Crest trail crosses the road about 1,500' west of the campground entrance.
