Dodge County Fairgrounds RV Park

I am really enjoying camping at the fairgrounds. The only thing it is missing is trees and they have planted some to replace the ones they lost. I feel very safe here. They have cameras and a camp host. The host has been very helpful. Everyone has just been wonderful. The grounds are kept clean and mowed. The layout is spacious. The fairgrounds are just minutes from shopping, storage, and my children I am visiting. I've extended my stay rather than moving to the next campground as it's just so pleasant.

I had the fairgrounds to myself essentially, aside from a groundskeeper mowing and a grumpy guy in a trailer by the dump station. After making the turn into the fairgrounds veer left towards the grandstands and turn right on Wisconsin. The third building on the right (American Legion) is where the registration area is located. Scan the code, register online, or pay at the registration station. Though you can't see the camping area when you first pull in there is plenty of room to maneuver and turn around. Larger rigs won't have a problem. Pick your site (all 25 are designated - see the map) and most are in the grass though some you could likely just stay on the paved road if there are no events. Most of the sites are in an open field but a few on the west side have a little shade. Like most fairgrounds, the electric outlets are on poles so just make sure you have a pole that offers your amps (20/30/50) since you pay by the amp. Most of the poles have water. If you like quiet no-frills fairground camping this would work very nicely. though check for events and stock car races. T-Mobile 10/2 and AT&T 27/3.
