Negative:
We had a back-in spot and little to no privacy. BBQ pit was filled with trash. The sound of planes from LAX were peaceful to us but I could see it being too loud for other people. The Hyperion Plant right behind the park was STINKY!
All and all a good park while traveling through LA.

Really, it is that freeway close! Take the I-105 Westbound and when it changes into Imperial Avenue, you're aimed at the entrance to this RV park on the beach. That said, there's scarcely any highway traffic noise (Noisy PCH in this area is miles to the east). There is the sound of planes* taking off from LAX, but not that bothersome IOHO. Lots of helicopter traffic during the day skimming the water as they skirt the LAX airspace. And the sewage plant that is adjacent to the park didn't bother us since we had a strong breeze all our visit from the ocean.
We chose this site 1) cause Aluminarium said they'd go here again and 2) we had awning installation work planned at C&G Trailer Service first thing in the morning and they are just off the 105--very convenient. BTW, Rod and Darlene are great owners of C&G! They've helped us out twice and we've had Airstream stuff sent to us by them. Check 'em out!
Anyway, we didn't spend much time enjoying the park as we arrived in late afternoon and left very, very early the next morning. That said, the park met our needs and was clean and convenient and we'd stay there again if needed, as this park is very convenient to the Westside of Los Angeles.
*Wow, those double decker jumbo jets are incredibly huge!

Dockwieler RV Park is located right next to Los Angeles International Airport and the planes are taking off all day and all night. The only way we were able to sleep through the night was to have our fans running on high to block out the noise.
There's a waste water treatment plant next door, and depending on the breeze the odor in the park can be pretty foul.
In the winter the park puts up a sand burm between the front row/ocean view spots and the ocean. Site #1 is the only one with an ocean view during the burm season.
On the upside, the beach is beautiful and the location is good for us.
FYI: There's $3/day fee for per dog.

Great location -- this park is right on the beach with direct access to the bike/running trail that runs from Redondo up to Will Rogers State Park. A negative for some is that it is in the flight path for planes taking off from LAX, but we've found that they aren't too frequent, they do stop at night, and hey, you get used to it! A trade-off for the fabulous beach access, for sure. Always crowded on weekends with a fair share of partying going on, but the park is well-patrolled and rules are strictly enforced. This is our favorite park for visiting LA downtown and beaches.
