We RSVP site 5 on loop, when we got there the site length was smaller then described on recreation.com. Lucky I noticed site 6 was open so asked the booth employees if I can switch site; which they did. 6 accommodate our 22’ Travel Trailer an Truck. The atmosphere for the two nights we stay was peaceful. All campers were respectful w... more

The atmosphere for the two nights we stay was peaceful. All campers were respectful with noise.
I would of given DC a five star if they had a their own water fill station, the Ranger Station is closed for the season so filled at home before our departure.

Overall Rating
We spent a few days here and enjoyed our time. Nice trails to the creek. Clean restrooms. Very quiet when we were here. Sites nicely spaced. Could be a tight fit for big rigs where we were at. Definitely coming back! BTW, it was 83° here and 108° in Clovis!

Favorite campground just to sit around and relax. You can hike ~ splash around in the creek ~ fish [seasonally] ~ lots to do if you don't have to be "entertained". [Has been a while so don't know current status cell svc/wi-fi.] Small store in campground ~ basics ~ Served bkfst/lunch seasonally. Friendly staff. We were impressed ... more
