We visited at the beginning of July and the mosquitoes were awful. We talked to a camper that has been visiting here since childhood, and he told us later in the season they are all gone, and it's wonderful there.

Mosquitos were around but not bad mostly. Late afternoons and early evening the activity picks up. We brought a lemongrass oil fogger that kept them at bay (along with campfire) and used off spray on exposed skin for the evening hours.
