“Magical star show!”

Reviewed Dec 23, 2016

Overall Rating

We had a wonderful evening in the stars in late December. We parked right at the tower and rigged up a hammock to the fencing for one of us to sleep. Dogs loved the area, and we had the tower all to ourselves! Easy stopover en route to New Mexico.
A little road noise, but absolutely canceled out by glittering stars.

“Cell Service in the Mojave”

Reviewed Aug 02, 2014

Overall Rating

We've stayed here twice. I wouldn't recommend anyone with a rig longer than ours coming here. We have a 27 foot Airstream and camp right at the tower. As you pull in, go to the right of the tower so you can ultimately drive all the way around and head back out. Make sure to camp off of the road, because there are cars that come th... more
