We have stayed at this campground several times over the last 15 years and have enjoyed it every time. There is a feeling of being away from it all, yet having a lake, ocean, and modern conveniences within walking distance. Sites vary in size so you’ll want to check the website to ensure your set up will fit. You can also call them as they nearly always answer, which is pretty amazing itself. Power set up has 30A/50A/ 120, water pressure is excellent and sewer is a standard 6” pipe (no threads) at grade. The sites in loop A & B are generally more private with natural trees and grasses blocking other sites. Loop C isn’t quite as private. There are bathrooms in each loop with a single shower building that has about 4 single entry showers. Water pressure in here is high, with the feeling being pressure washed. A good way to get salt off I suppose. We typically get sites in loop A closer to the lake side. We have not had any issues at all with HWY 101 road noise in these sites. There are lots of critters around like the deer we had to shoo away in order to park our trailer. Raccoons at night are also pretty common so you don’t want to leave anything food wise out. Good practice to put it away anyhow. If you need firewood there are a couple of goats that sell it for $5/bundle or it is easy to find around town. Sites are kept clean by the staff with cleanup starting right after you leave.
This is a really nice jumping off point for day trips to Tillamook to the north, or Depoe Bay/Newport to the south. Overall one of our favorite places to come to.

Pulled in here with reservations for the night. Half of the campsites were underwater from heavy rain, but ours was fine. All other dry sites were taken and the park was posted as full. Nice restrooms and showers and park rangers were around. All said, a nice state park. The ocean access is about a mile away which may be an issue.

Small campground but some of the loops are closed due to flooding. Bathrooms and showers very clean and the park ranger works hard to make sure everything is top notch. Beach access is fairly close but you do have to cross the main road to get to the beach. Overall pretty good place and would stay here again.

Clean, quietish (a little road noise from the 101). Lots of kids riding bikes around camp. 10 Minute walk to D River beach (trail starts at the ranger station), Sunday market at the cultural center at entrance to camp. Quick walk to numerous places to eat up on the 101 and a 1 mile walk to the outlets or Regatta Park. RVs are not allowed in the tent spaces and they do not allow generators at any time of day. No parking on the grass (tow rig needs to fit 100% on the pavement).

We were there in October and the entire A loop was closed. We started out in site B3 and it was so bad, we asked to move. Sites B22, 26, 28, etc. up on the hill were pretty dry and still had full hook-ups.
The lake is pretty, and you can walk out to the docks. Swimming is farther away (for kids) and most don't recommend it anyway. We could also walk to the beach at the D River State Park area and that beach is gorgeous!
Overall, Lincoln City is a cute town, and we had fun with the friends we came to see!
