We stayed over the long Memorial Day weekend, and it was pretty warm and humid (high 70’s - mid 80’s), which isn’t all that surprising for Missouri. There was a lot of brush and debris throughout the campground - the only reason I mention that is because I ended up getting a couple of ticks just from walking around the site with my dogs. The site was paved, but it wasn’t perfectly level - you definitely need your leveling blocks. The site was also pretty small - we have a 20-foot trailer, and after we unhitched, the truck was right at the edge of our site. I’m not sure how the larger trailers would fit, unless they parked in the grass. Our site had a picnic table and fire ring, neither of which we used. We had electric only, but the dump station was just a short drive away and had potable water.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this park as a destination, unless you like muddy and buggy. However, for an overnight stay on your way somewhere else, it was pretty decent and at a good price.
