I got a killer deal on the rate because of the COVID restrictions. The area is beautiful and perfectly situated for lots of outdoor activities. There is a ton of amazing hiking and all sorts of tastings to be had (beer, cider, wine, and spirits). The campground it’s self is a large open field with hook up and some beautiful scenery. Breaking camp this morning after spending 5 nights at Devils Backbone Basecamp. Beautiful brewery, enjoyed a good dinner first night here at The Summit. I love craft beer and this spot is situation on a great beer trail. The campground itself is solid. I stayed in a no hookup site which is fine for me because solar takes care of most of my needs, but I cant speak for the electric sites. My site was level and it backed to a wooded area. It seemed like most of the sites were pretty level... more
