Overall Rating

Free BC recreation site. Quiet, shady, well maintained and clean. Stayed a week in late July 2022 specifically to be in the shade to ride out the heatwave. So poor solar harvesting. However the trees worked really well to keep us out of the blazing sun most of the day.

7 official shaded sites as well as a large open area for a group. 4 shaded sites are big rig friendly - we are in a 35’ motorhome. Access is good on 4km of graded dirt road. Bike trail access from all campsites. Toilets include changing areas and were very clean. Non-potable water (looked like rain catchment) available to put out campfires.

Couldn’t believe we had the whole place to ourselves except for the last 2 nights when a couple car tenting turned up. Barely any mountain bikers too.

Mosquitoes were around but manageable. Free range cows visit each day.

AT&T LTE worked ok with booster for streaming but sometimes got frustrating for larger uploads. Too many trees for Starlink to work properly unless in the open group area.
