“Pretty Campground with Road Noise”

Reviewed Aug 14, 2018

Overall Rating

We stayed here in a 21 foot travel trailer. There was just enough room for our camper and truck. Paved road to site, and it was gravel. There was a picnic table and a fire ring on our site. No hook-ups. There were water spigots, but no dump station. There was a dumpster for trash. There is a bathroom, but we didn't use it, so I'm not s... more

“We always love it.”

We have stayed many many weekends here over the last couple of years. The hosts are always polite and helpful. It is a dry campground but has water faucets throughout the campground. As long as your ok with hearing lots of loud motorcycles racing up 129 throughout the day on weekends you will be fine. I have gotten used to it by no... more

“Great visit, Rates to go up first of year. Clean bathroom with shower.”

We spent 2 nights here the end of Aug. Weather was great, about 10 degrees cooler than the city. Few bugs but not bad! Nice trails to waterfalls. This is alongside a motorcycle route, the only reason for 3 stars. The camp host does a very good job here! If you want a fire you need to bring firewood.

“Absolutely Wonderful!!”

Reviewed Apr 03, 2017

This is a gem with great little hikes to the Upper and Lower Desoto Falls. Site, bathrooms and the whole park was spotless. There is a little highway noise with the jake brake use from trucks. That' the olny negative we found. Dry camping at its best. Camp host was great and the reason the park was so spotless. Easy access from the ... more
