“Nice Park But Highway noise was Awful!”

We stayed in Bouse to ride our UTV for 5 days and this park had gotten great reviews so we gave it a shot. They have 5 sites right along Hwy 72 which has heavy semi traffic, needless to say it was quite loud. If we stay again we will ask for a site in the back of the park.

I emerged from BLM boondocking for one night to dump, laundry, etc. So glad I found Desert Pueblo. While RV park rates in Quartzsite skyrocket in January, here the rate was $30. New laundry and showers: very nice! There is a comfortable clubhouse with full kitchen, big screen TV, library and game closet. There are several well tended cactus gardens, desert tree and vegetation patches which attract various bird species. Near the center of the park is a group dining area within the largest cactus garden. All signs of a thriving community. The roadways are wide for big rigs to maneuver. Propane is available. A reverse osmosis (RO) water station is close by. Good to excellent Verizon signal. The drawbacks were significant road noise from the well used truck route, and many of the sites were fairly close together. The pros far outweigh the cons so I’ll be back.

Night one! No electric! Night two just got back on! Domestic roaming on AT&T, who has roaming! Thought that ended in the 90’s. Requested refund! No! Day 4 no electric! Wanted to know if I needed gas for my generator! I left! F@&$ them! I would rather be in Iraq or dead than to go back to that place!!!
