We were escorted to the RV parking section where there were already a half dozen other motorhomes and trailers, plus a couple semis. Nice open lot with a view of mountains. Fairly level lot, we didn't put out slides or jacks. Good Verizon signal. There was noise from trains and airplanes in the evening, but quiet at night. You will certainly hear jets at 6:30a. We would stay here again.

When I was here last there was some loud sonic booming that may have been coming from Raytheon nearby. It's been pleasant enough this time.

I would go a bit further down to the other Desert Diamond location. This one was very close to the train and the airport. There was some intense sonic rumbling that actually hurt coming from the airport.
It was just a big ugly parking lot... it is the closest to Tucson...

We stayed here 2 nights but if we had known about the sister casino to the south we would have stayed there instead. Unless you need to be 10 min closer to Tucson, the other casino in Sahuarita is a better choice, IMO. Or try Casino del Sol.

We stayed here a couple days while we explored the Pima Air and Space Museum. The facility is clean and relatively quiet but cell service is really bad and we could barely use our mifi. It's not a bad place to stay but not a destination we need to come back to.

The players club card is totally worth it as mentioned by others! We signed up in 2 minutes and got $20 in meal vouchers plus $20 in free play (which we turned into enough cash to cover drinks and tip at the buffet). So if you're lucky you can actually make a little money to stay here for free.
To access make sure you get directions right to the lot. We came in the main entrance and driving past the front doors and around some tight circles wasn't the easiest.
Really no complaints, I just can't give blacktop camping 5 stars ;-)

RV camping is in front of the casino hotel. There were a number of RV's camped each night, though it was never overcrowded. There is some generator and idling truck noise, as well as noise from the highway and the occasional train. Fighter planes practice in this area, so you may hear some seriously loud airplane noise for brief periods of time.
Parking lot is clean, well lit, and regularly patrolled by security. The casino appears to love RV'ers, and when they cleared the lot one morning for a large yard sale they were hosting, they encouraged overnighting RV'ers to move into their main parking lot.
If you acquire a free players card inside the casino they'll give you a $10 food voucher, which gets two people breakfast at their buffet. My husband and I both got players cards and were able to eat free breakfast for two days.
Check out San Xavier del Bac, right down the road from the Desert Diamond. Free admission and a beautiful historic mission.

Desert Diamond is easy in and out overnight (or longer!) parking, and about a 20 minute drive to downtown Tucson. We stayed 2 nights mid-week, and another 2 nights over a weekend. Mid-week, it was pretty quiet, with just a couple RVs, and a handful of semis that would come in around dark. It was much busier on the weekend, but still had plenty of space for any size rig.
Trash cans are all around the parking lot, and emptied frequently. There are some idling trucks and generators, but overall, the area is pretty quiet. You are right next to Tucson airport, so you will occasionally hear a super loud plane overhead.
There might be a stay limit, but we saw a couple rigs that had obviously set up camp, and were still there when we returned a week later. Security occasionally came around, but no one ever talked to us.
Easiest access to RV parking is to turn west on Topowa Drive from 19, then right into the parking area.
