We stayed here 10/29/2019. We unhooked our Jeep at Peter Skene Ogden State Park in Terrebonne, OR and then took the Jeep to scout a spot. If you have a larger rig like us (37' Class A) I would recommend the same thing as there was only one spot we felt comfortable getting into. This area was easy to find and travel to from HWY 97. Once you enter BLM land, there are many tracks along the Lower Bridge Road you can take to setup camp. The area could’ve been one of those gems we find on public lands however it was just sad how poorly people have treated it. Maybe in a pinch I’d return, but I’m sure I’ll look for ... more

This is a beatific location overlooking the Deschute River. There are a number of sites suitable for smaller rigs and tents. We found a nice pull-through site a short distance from the road - unfortunately, there was quite a bit of glass, which we tried to pick up as best as possible.
