City park with few non-reserved spots with water and electric but vault toilets and no shower house. Grounds are well kept. Sites for RVs are gravel. Tent sites are grassy and $15/night. All sites are very close and no privacy. The works for a one nite stop as you traverse the country.

My wife and I stayed here for one night; 8-25-2021. The setting is very peaceful, and it was quiet during our stay. We have stayed here several times over the last 10 years. The water is city water and safe to use. There is no sewer dump though. You will find a dump at the Little Chief gas station just down the road.
Mostly local people around here. The lake is pretty and the back in spots are easily accessible.
You are only allowed 7 days here.

A very nice spot to camp. Lake access, playgrounds, and pavilion. Pit toilets. Only downside is no potable water.

Fergus Falls is a wonderful small city in NW Minnesota. Great shopping, full health services, historical home of the infamous RuneStones discovered after the Viking jokester-explorers left them in a grainfield to be found by wandering entrepreneurs.
This is lake country with hundreds of sparkling lakes and ponds set amongst the rolling wooded hills. If you think you are Swedish or wnanbe Norgegian this is the place for you. Have a heman's breakfast downtown at the Viking Cafe then take a long waddle back to your camper.

Would give zero stars if I could. Was hoping to stay here 1 night on my way to Theo Roos Natl Park. Visited the website. No information on how to register. Sent an email inquiry, waited two weeks, no response. Called the number provided and left a polite vm asking for a return call..nothing...crickets.
Frustrating!! Disappointing!!
