Delabar State Park

Typical Illinois State park where the signs at the park are lacking in real information and contradict what the website says.
Upon driving in you are greeted with a sign that actually has correct information.
This time there is a boat ramp and a dump station.
When going to the camp side of the park you see a sign that says to go and set up and we will check you in later. But the website says just the opposite and nowhere is there any information about a price. Just a sign with a bunch of regulations on it and nobody to check you in.
Surprisingly There is power at the sights. 30 amp power. But luckily nobody else was there so my spot was only down 4 volts. If other campers were plugged in it would be bad.
The playground is slowly falling apart and is in a state of disrepair with the exception of 1 newer peace of equipment.
While being next to the Mississippi River you can’t see it.
Ticks are everywhere so check your dogs when walking and check yourself.
Other then my observations the place is quite and shady.
