There are 4 transient sites near the beach/kayak launch.
God’s natural beauty is stunning here. There is an inherent spirit of calmness in/on this property.
The owners are very dedicated to their customers having the best camping experience. This is the cleanest campground I’ve ever encountered. We stayed 5 nights and didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend!!

Stayed here the last four days of their season. The owners are wonderful and very attentive. Most sites are seasonal but about 6 are for transients. The campsite is located on the Deer River Flow. Large sites, level, good roads. 14 miles to Malone if you need gas or shopping. Showers were fantastic. We will be back!

The office is also a small store, no problems checking in. The interior roads are good, we found our site near the water. We had water and electric site and was about 30 yards from the beach area. The park is pretty large, 90% seasonal sites, the owners keep about 4 sites open for travelers. The campground is on Deer River Flow and it is a nice paddle area. Had great conversations with the owner and one of his staff....they take great pride in keeping the park in working order and looking good. The showers are pay showers, bathrooms were very nice. There is a nice game room, a walking path with golf Frisbee. When we were there they had the local fire department come (Duane Fire) and work with the kids on fire prevention. Nice quiet campground, the seasonal folks were all very nice and helpful, I would stay here again if in the area.

This camp is a privately owned and operated older camp ground. Some water front spaces and all spaces with the standard picnic table, fire ring and BBQ grill. Very shady but electric on all sites. I called at 11 AM to find out check in time. She asked where I was and invited me to show up before the 2 PM standard time. Check out time is 1 PM which is nicer for sleeping in and breaking camp on exit day. It is a 100% recycle site. I have never heard of that before. They have easy access bins for all waste and also sell propane on site. The owner personally stopped by about an hour after arriving and asked if there was anything he could help with like directions or information. That also has never been done at any other camp I have stayed at.
The entrance has an electric gate which is a nice touch and I feel adds to general security.
There were lots of permanent appearing rigs and fishing gear was present everywhere so maybe this is a good fishing spot. I stayed on a Monday in early October and the place was perfectly quiet.
Having stayed at Little Wolf in Tupper Lake (my second fav) and the state parks which are all dry camping this place is head and shoulders above them all. The Adirondack Park in the fall is one of the must do RV experiences and this place is the most northern camp ground in the park. I would speculate most visitors enter the park from the south however this spot should not be missed.
Verizon 3G 2 bars but Youtubes worked just fine.
Call the camp and save a booking fee.
