I really want to give this campground a 5 star review -it really tugged at my heart strings. Older campground, but really nice. Convenient location just off the highway, but quiet. Quick and friendly check in with an escort to the site. The escort even helped back us in, which could be a marriage saver! The campground was not full, so they offered Pull through site for the same price, but we were fine with backing in. Mature trees, level sites, and privacy here. Nice laundry room. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that the campground is close to a big cattle feedlot and a shooting range, so constant gunshots until dark and cows mooing all night were a bit of a bummer. Buffalo is a really cute town and going to the Occidental saloon for drinks and appetizers is a must-do. I would definitely come back.

We stayed here 1 night in late Aug 2022. They have a great area for dogs to run and play, very clean restrooms and showers. Gal at the the desk was very nice and even took us directly to our site. Hook ups were good. Lots of nice trees and shady areas. Close to Buffalo. We really enjoyed our overnight here.

I only noticed 3 individuals running and maintaining this large park, which explains why this park is lacking in maintenance. Sights are long, decent spacing inbetween. Roads and sites are gravel & dirt, mostly dirt. Grass between sites is dead, although I did see one of the employee attempting to water as we were leaving the park. Some parts of the park have green grass, just not between the sites. Matured trees throughout. Swimming pool with weeds in the cement cracks. Picnic tables need painting. Ants all over our site. Overall an ok park for a 1 or 2 night layover. Although pricey, cheaper than the KOA down the road. We stayed 3rd week in July.

Our RV GPS took us right to the campground (CG) about 1.5 miles east of I 90. As we entered the CG, we remembered that we’d stayed here almost exactly the same time in 2019. We picked this park based on recent reviews not noticing we’d stayed prior. Check in was quick and we were escorted to pull through 105 with FHUs. Also to our surprise, this was the same site. Utilities are smartly placed in the middle of most sites. Water pressure is very good, got 3 OTA channels, and their 24 channel cable worked okay but a little grainy on some channels (I swapped out coax and asked my neighbor to be sure). We got 3 bars on Verizon. They have 22 WiFi connections (not really sure how many are real) but connection 10 worked above average. There are a lot of mature trees here so satellite could be iffy. Our site and 106 should not have a problem connecting to satellite. 100 series sites are fairly well spaced with nice grass areas. The campground map is fairly accurate depicting site sizes, however, sites are not assigned until you arrive. We enjoyed our three night stay much better than last time.

The only complaint I had and others noticed, the sewer connections were right next to your neighbor’s and your outside door and sitting area . It was not pleasant at all . You either had to sit behind your camper or in front with very little space . And these sites were very close together . There were many other sites that were private and spacious . Next time I would ask for one of those . Otherwise it was nice.

Ditto previous reviewer. We enjoyed taking advantage of their pool. The showers are pretty tight on space, but facilities are impeccably maintained. This is a sweet spot to stay in.Buffalo. Office staff suggested dinner at TA Ranch, about 17 mi south - highly recommend! Unique and excellent.

We had a pull-through, but it was tight the next morning pulling out due to other rigs and trees. We also had cable TV. This park is probably no more than a couple of minutes off of the interstate. It has many mature trees and I heard very little traffic but no interstate noise.

I’ll start with saying Buffalo, WY is a charming little town in a beautiful area of the country. This camp ground was very comfortable. Most of the spots are pull through, full hook up. There is a little 1/4 mile trail to walk dogs and there was a family of deer who frequently strolled by. Would definitely stop here again.
