“Deep Lake Campground rustic in the beat way”

We travel in a 21’ van. We backed right into a wooded lot with a picnic table and fire pit and enjoyed two locket, shaded days. The campground is broken into three or four loops and each one has 8-12 sites. Our site, #53 is pretty private. Pit toilet shared with 10 other sites. Maintained. Easy. Dirt roads into site. Barrow but easily navigable.
Lake was in backdrop but not accessible. Ambiance for sure.
ATT full bars. Town 10-15 minutes away. Here in Mid-may and it is 80 degrees, sunny and very few pests.

First time staying here and would definitely stay again. Spacious sites and easy to get to. If you have kids, get a site next to the play area. Nothing fancy (a swing, a field, and some sand) but lots of friendly people to let your beasts run wild.
Sites 45 and up are far more scenic; however, if you have a big camper, they might be a bit tighter to get into. Great trails, especially if you like mountain biking.
Only drawback we had was the water pump by the play area was temporarily out-of-order. Sprint service was also spotty.
