Dropped in without a reservation on a late Tuesday afternoon in early October as the park was on our direct route - good sites available, we got a pull-through: level on a paved pad with electric/water. Dump station nearby. Our loop was at half-full, the others were nearly empty. When the park is full, some of these sites will be close together. Bypass the old washroom - it works, but looks like upkeep/cleaning stopped when the new, spiffy toilets/showers (a short distance away) opened. Folks at the reservation desk could not have been nicer. Park is showing its age, and some nearby roadway noise was audible. However, everything worked for an overnight stop, and it was dark enough and night to catch parts of the Milky Way above.

A bit noisy with a motorboat and fishing crowd, but still a lot of fun. A paved pad with electricity. Dump station at exit.
If it is hot make sure you get a site under trees. I had the only site exposed and spent most my time inside. A big area in the middle for dogs to run around.

Had the entire campground to ourselves on a Thurs night in August, until two more campers arrived and set up (out of seemingly hundreds of places) right next to us and across the road from us. But these are the best sites as far as lake view. Pleasant evening watching motorboats and a full moon. The old restroom bldg, which you see prominently in the middle of the Lakeview Loop in Deep Fork, is ghastly and rundown. Look further toward a playscape and there are brand spanking new individual shower rooms with freezing cold AC, nice concrete finishes.

This is the second time for us to visit Eufaula this year. First time we stayed at Arrowhead. It was OK, but not my favorite. This time around I wanted to stay here at Deep Fork because of how much closer it is to I-40. Man, how did we NOT know of this campground. By far it’s one of my top 3 campgrounds in the state. The crème de la crème sites are #90 and #91. We just lucked out and someone happened to cancel and we slid right into reserving #90 with less than a week’s notice. Had plenty of room for my Jeep Gladiator towing my Rockwood travel trailer and had my other Jeep with my boat right next to it. Both of those sites have an awesome lake view. There’s a nice marina (with gas dock) less than a mile away. The boat ramp is good with a nice dock and good parking. The marina does not carry live bait. I found that odd, but who knows. There is a real nice tackle store about 5 miles down the road. Called Rusty Hook. Only bad news is they don’t open till 7 am. I like to leave early. Crappie fishing is fabulous at Eufaula.
We liked that campground so much my wife already booked the same site again for her birthday this fall.
ALSO: The State of Oklahoma has been installing new bathroom facilities at state parks starting this year. They have them installed here at Deep Fork now and they are very nice.

The online reservation system is wonky so double check what your site actually has by calling. Filtered for 50A sites and selected a 50A site. When we arrived it was a 30A site. Not a big deal as the temps were only in the 50s but if it was the summer it would have been an issue to run camper and both AC units. Campground could definitely use some updating, the power connection boxes look like they are on their last legs. Good water pressure-45 PSI.

Camped 10/22/21 (Fri night). Price reflects senior discount, a water and 30a electric site with gravel pad. We first drove through the Dogwood Drive campground area, which was pretty crowded, and there were signs that you must reserve first (we had no reservation). We stopped and talked to a camper who pointed us down the road to the Visitor Center. We had no cell signal, and they reserved a site for us online in the Deep Fork campground area by the lake.
A nice setting with a mix of sun and shade. Our site 20 was not level and had a bit of a lake view. It was right next to site 21; thankfully no one camped there. The bathroom/shower house by us was okay, but it could have used some cleaning and a new paint job in the shower stall. It was also not handicapped accessible, although I believe the one at the front of the campground was.
There are nice roads to bicycle or walk throughout the campground. There's a nature center, amphitheater, and a beach area at this campground and close access to the boat ramp and marina.

Our hookups were terrible and kept shorting out on us. Had to re start multiple times a day. The amount of ticks is insane and the lake water is mud brown.

Spacious campsites with picnic tables and fire rings. RV sites are concrete and very level. Great views of Lake Eufaula. Several good hiking trails nearby.

The best part was we pulled into the welcome center and a Park Ranger pulled in. He asked if we had reservations and when I told him we did, he offered to escort us to the spot! We just followed him right to the site.
Spot 90 and 91 are the best spots on right on the lake. Gorgeous! While there was no WIFI of course, the Verizon service was great!
We would definitely stay there again.

Some of the pull through sites are very close to the roadway. Baths looked clean & well kept. Campers were all considerate. Park Ranger was kind enough to check on us while we were unhitching our tow car and then escorted us directly to our spot. Saw lots of deer, lake was very quiet & peaceful. All in all, a great stay and we will return.
