Great area, large gravel pit with several areas to park. Mostly flat. Lots of room for big rigs. Some spots by the water. No cell in this area. We did get Sirius.

This is a nice spot along the Cassiar Hwy. North of the town of Dease Lake. We have stayed in this area twice now, and would do so again. You can stay up on top where there is lots of room to maneuver the largest of rigs, or take the cut to the bottom and be right on the lake. Be mindful of other travelers, and park in ways that don't take up too much space, or all of the view. If you choose to stay down by the lake, make sure you leave room if someone wanted to get to the shore to put in a boat. If your headed south be mindful of the turn in, as it comes up quickly and your going down hill after going through multiple corners. Expect to hear big rigs at night, as they travel that road 24/7 and use their engine brakes as they go down the hills.
