“Not For Every Traveler ”

Overall Rating

This resort used to be clothing optional so when I learned it changed ownership and clothing was mandatory, I thought it would be worth a stop over after a two week road trip. The plan was to check out the nearby town and connect to full hookups to get the tanks cleaned out. The “resort” is huge and seems to have an indentity crisis. Is it an RV resort, mobile home park, hostel, hotel, ghost town, junkyard? Pretty much all of the above. The pictures on their website and social media are a bit deceiving in my opinion. There are a dozen or more ongoing projects which definitely gives off slab-city vibes. We did not use any of the amenities and admittedly, there are several! That was definitely a plus and almost convinced me to try again in a few months once some of the chaos settles. However, the naked couple in the mountains behind my trailer in the morning convinced me it will likely take years for this “resort” to be something I want to try again. Further, the hook-ups were awkward and the sewer continually backed up making it difficult to accomplish the goal that started me on this adventure to begin with.
