Deadman Pass Rest Area Westbound

We used this rest stop for a lunch break. The RV side will fill up with passenger cars as a heads up. The RV/Semi truck parking is not very level. Nice and easy dumpstation right off highway going west bound. Was open and functional on august 5th 2023. Plenty of over night spots for big rigs and cars.

Semi truck PARKED in RV dump spot. Duh!!! Overnight parking no problem. Basic bathrooms nothing special. Smallish rest area, some parking on incline, some flat. Lotta traffic. Fairly tidy. Safe. Hwy noise minimal. Forrest like setting, pretty.

Used the RV dump. It is located on the west bound/north side of the highway. There is a tunnel from the north to the south but it only has a 12 ft clearance so many RV's will not fit. We just stopped over night w our motor home on our way to Washington. Had bathrooms, maps, and a dump station. In a nice secluded area just off the highway. 12 hr max stay.

Dump station adjacent to rest area, accessible both before and after you drive through the rest area parking lot and possible to loop around to it a second time if needed. Water supply spigot beside dumping area only with sign warning water is unsafe to drink. No other water spigots at the rest area. Free and in a beautiful location!
