Since I couldn't find many reviews for this campground, I relied on the official website which stated that trailers up to 20 feet were acceptable. I have a 16' trailer with a 4x4 TV. The Happy Canyon road into the site is narrow and a good portion unpaved. I was prepared for the unpaved but the narrow was quite treacherous with a tra... more

We drove from Big Sur and saw this spot on the map. We didn’t make reservations but there were signs on each sight with some reserved. There was no attendant and no box to pay. Vault toilet / no water available / no bathroom sink / no shower / table / fire pit / easy access / high shade. We stayed there mid-may.
