Campground quiet only 5 sites used when we were there.

Site 4 and 5 both pull through. 5 was flatter, but it was an easy level in site 4. The beautiful trees were great shade, bugs weren’t bad. Pit toilets available and a spigot for filling a water jug. There is a dump station at the Maverick in town so this wa an easy stop. Camper 26ft, truck quad cab with 8 ft bed, 12 ft height. Friends... more

Loved seeing deer drift through campground morning and evening grazing the lush vegetation. Did not like ATVs coming and going, one even being ridden to the bathroom two sites away!! Sad to come way out here to hear motors as part of experience.

Arrived around 3pm Tuesday Sep 22, 2020. Drove though the campground and only one site out of the 16 was available, and that site didn't appear that level, so I chose to leave. As I was exiting I noticed a large parking lot across the road. It was the Dalton Springs Winter Trailhead. I ended up just parking there to sleep for the night. All I can say is that I was the only one there after dark. There was a restroom. It was quiet, and there was enough room in the lot for any size RV. Unfortunately I had no T Mobil cell service.

I have family in the area, so it is great to stay here. About 4-5 miles to town. Shaded by Gambel Oak trees. I saw a deer in the campground this morning. There's water faucets, but not threaded spigots, so you'll need a 'water bandit' to fill up. Many 'pull through' sites.
