Overall Rating

As the previous reviewers have stated, the wind picks up without warning and then dies (and may repeat, may not). This was a perfect place for a water loving dog, twice daily swims in the "front yard." Verizon is great here. Can be very busy on the weekends but I loved site #7 for a non-busy front yard. Overall Rating

This is a hidden gem that is about 8 miles down a dirt and in some areas rutted road. But it is worth the drive. We had a regular steady wind from the north blowing across the lake while we were there. Sometimes with quick gusts. Great setting right on the lake with 11,900 foot Emigrant Peak behind you and views down to Dome Mountain to the south. The area is known for it's winds so be prepared for that.
