Overall Rating
Maybe a decent stop for a night, or maybe two or more if booking fishing trips, but at $20 per night (400 pesos) one night might be too much.

If you‘d like to get away ... this is the place. Ruben (owner) was very accommodating and answered our e-mails with questions ahead of time. Sites have electric (although we did not use it as we have solar) and a small BBQ/cooking station. The nicest feature is that all sites have a palapa to sit in the shade or store items. If you‘d like to get away ... this is the place. Ruben (owner) was very accommodating and answered our e-mails with questions ahead of time. Sites have electric (although we did not use it as we have solar) and a small BBQ/cooking station. The nicest feature is that all sites have a palapa to sit in the shade or store items. There is a primitive dump and water is available although Ruben pointed out that it is not of drinking water quality. Toilets and showers need work but are available. There is hot water at times. Internet is really good on sites 1-5.
We also organized a fantastic fishing trip through Ruben. Caught plenty of fish (grouper/yellowtail tuna) with Fernando our fishing guide.
You can wake along the beach right in front of campground for miles & miles & miles ...!
Besides WIFI there is no cell phone signal in Bahia de Los Angeles (no Mexican nor US carriers).

Good snorkelling and the beach was fine. Palapas with stone cooking grills. Cold showers, not very clean. Washrooms not any better. No hookups, but it did have a dumping station.
The tacos in town were terrific! If it was six bucks for both of us, and the wifi worked, it would maybe get another star.
Arpi and Gabi would stay here again
